How do I apply for an MBNA credit card?
Click on Credit Cards to apply online now. You can choose from a number of different credit cards. You will receive a confirmation screen upon successful submission of your application. You can also apply by phone on 1800 409 510 from Monday to Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Who can apply?
You must be a Republic of Ireland resident aged 18 years or over.
How long does it take to get a decision on my application?
For most credit card applications, you should hear from us within 7 to 10 working days. Online applications may offer a quicker response time.
I have not received my card—what should I do?
Contact us if you have not received your card and terms and conditions. Call us on 1800 409 517, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday to Thursday or 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday.
How can I request a copy of my credit file?
You can obtain a copy of your credit file by contacting the Irish Credit Bureau. Their telephone number and web address can be found in the Other Useful Contacts section of this website.
How do I activate my card?
For security reasons, when you receive a new or replacement card, you will need to call us on the telephone number provided prior to use.
